Humility

A solid practice is full of humility. Those that are below are higher than those who seek the top. If you choose the humble way, then there is always room for honor; but if you exalt your importance then there is only one way to go, and that is down.

In China, it is believed that tai chi can delay the aging process and help to prolong life. It is said to also increase flexibility and strengthen muscles and tendons, and aid in the treatment of heart disease, high blood pressure, arthritis, digestive disorders, skin diseases, depression, cancer, and many other illnesses. Although those claims have not been proven, there is some evidence to support the positive effects of tai chi on health, fitness, and balance.
