Love Letters

If you understand the love letters sent by the rain, the wind, the sun, and the snow, there is no need to read anything else. Real teaching does not come from a dusty book.

I hear the truck roar

Far off on the interstate

My candle flickers

When you are just learning Tai Chi, practicing the stances can be quite helpful. Doing these postures helps you pay attention to the alignment of your body. They help you to build great power in your legs. I practice the Horse stance, the Forward, Cat, Cross, Polk, and Crane stances. I am just beginning so I do a minute of each. I can already feel the strength building in my legs.

 Horse Stance    Forward Stance

 Cat Stance  Heel Stance

 Cross Stance Crane Stance
