A Foreign Language
Maybe one can compare beginning a practice of following the path with learning a foreign language. At first, it can be overwhelming; all the teachings to learn! Even after a little practice, few of us would be comfortable being dropped off in the middle of a strange city. To learn a little French and then find yourself alone in a city in France might be a little frightening. However, slowly as we learn more and more, the fear begins to lessen. If we keep practicing, we become fluent and then we would be comfortable anywhere our new language is spoken. Our aim is to have a fluent practice, dedicated and comfortable with no fear.
