Rock, Paper, & Scissors

Rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper. In turn, paper beats rock. No one is almighty. Each has a strength and a weakness. To cling to one is to invite both victory and defeat. Be flexible like the pond reed. Seek the wisdom to know what is required when. If we are building something, sometimes we need a short piece of wood. Sometimes we need a long piece. What is the length of the piece you hold? It depends on need. It may be too short, too long, or just right. Do not be too quick to discard something that does not fit now. You may not need it now, but later you may. if you are going to cut some paper, you need scissors. A rock or another piece of paper is useless. If you need to write a letter, a rock or a pair of scissors will not do. If you want to build a wall, you better have a rock. Learning to use all three and use them at the right times shows wisdom.
