Cheap Sunglasses
The idea of being one with the Tao means we realize that we exist right along side the sun, moon, and stars. We are on equal ground with mountains, rivers, and forests. All things living or not are a part too. It is all one, united. Sometimes we hear someone say that they wish to be one with the Tao. More accurately, they should say they wish to realize they are one with the Tao. We are already one with the Tao but we do not see this. No matter where we go, we find our brothers and sisters of the Tao. That is why it is so important to show respect. Too many times we get the idea that others are just supporting players and we are the star with the sunglasses. The sunglasses though delude us. If you look through sunglasses, they are colored to shade our eyes. So we really are not seeing the truth. We are only seeing the truth through the lenses of the sunglasses, therefore we are deluded. It does not matter if they are expensive sunglasses or cheap sunglasses. They still delude us. All is one and one is all already. Our aim is to recognize that and act accordingly so that we can be in harmony with the universe.
