No Appointments
Enlightenment does not accept schedules nor appointments. You cannot schedule wisdom. It comes in time direct related to your practice. We should not worry about a schedule. We should just practice and things will come. It may take a year or a thousand years. It does not matter. If you are in a hurry, you are being selfish. That is not good practice. You cannot hurry a river to flow. It is natural. If you have an idea of gaining something in your practice, you are practicing wrong. We do not practice to gain even though we do gain. Thinking of gain and how fast you can get it is the wrong idea. Thinking you should arrive here or there at this time shows that you have not become a wise traveler. An experienced traveler always anticipates delays.
