Travel Light

I try to teach the simple things. If you try to teach complicated things, you complicate the mind. The meanings get lost. You cannot live simply if you are caught up in complexity. Life should not be more than meditation and then going out and engaging in everyday life with the spirit of the path. It takes great insight to know that a simple life, a life that involves living in a simple house, doing simple work for adequate money and then coming home and meditating, not owning many possessions, not relying on any friends or contact with family, nor having much human contact at all in fact is the way to serenity. Travel light, and you travel in peace.
