Material Things
What good comes from spending your life accumulating material things? Are you going to be able to take the with you on your next journey once life ends? Such ideas are not in walking with the Tao. What benefit do you derive from conforming your behavior to somebody else‘s guidelines? It violates your true nature and takes away your chi. Why separate your spiritual life from your practical life? To a follower of the Tao, there is no such distinction. Live simply, heed the precepts, be true to your nature, drawing no line between what is spiritual and what is not. Everything is spiritual to the enlightened. Do away with the thought of time and deadlines. Give up concepts and what you think you know.
